gilbert should just say **** it we got cleveland a championship the warriors are too tough for the next several years no point

if philly gets fultz lebron bout sign with the sixers in 2018
He's probably going to have to blow it up.

1 If you look at the teams with Cap Space,

2 The Free Agency list

3 Phil wanting Melo gone.

4.....and then just remember comments like "I'd like to play ...." from this article http://basketball.realgm.com/wireta...team-up-with-carmelo-cp3-wade-before-retiring

5 Lebron's experience with building ST's (not joining them)

6 ......................................................................................timing is about as perfect as it was when he made the decision.

Those guys probably trolling at a Hampton location right now discussing the possibilities before deciding which City they will compete in and for 2018-

Banana Boat crew would lose in 6 to the Warriors
It's not even about that.

It's about Lebron crossing yet another threshold and doing what he wanted which is "play with his friends before he retires".

It's now or never. Make it happen Lebron.....nothing else matters..

WHo knows, 5-7 years from now it may be more popular to build your teams within the League by just teaming up with the homies.

Trendsetting.

The Spurs would probably be the best option for LeBron if he wanted to compete with the warriors. But he would have to play the 4. Another option would be for Paul George to sign with the Cavs but again no cap space

I'd be really really interested to see that banana boat team and would probably prefer to have that happen over all else.

I think its the fact that they're all just at that weird age that makes it interesting to see what would happen. Old man knowledge of knowing the all the ropes with just enough in the tank for a final push.

Wade kinda proved me wrong this year of not being washed with age. Although I still think he may only have one year left, maybee 2 of good basketball in him so it would definitely need to be done right this instant if they wanna win together because of him.

CP3's game should age very well. I think he ends up getting a ring regardless because of that. Like Jason Kidd.

Tbh KD really changed the way I feel about all this ****.

Would I have preferred to see a Finals rematch without him for entertainment purposes, sure. Do I actually care or blame him, no. I just thought to myself do you have any idea how fun it would be to play with the Warriors if you were him? And what would I do. I think id take the route that was the most fun.

Who gives a **** about all these made up legacy narratives and arbitrary numbers by fans and the media, or the people on this board. None of it actually means anything. It's just what we hang onto cause its entertainment and we have nothing better to do. But it doesn't make him any less money, doesn't make him any less talented, and wouldn't make playing with the Warriors any less fun.

If players wanna team up with their friends then go for it. I'll probably find basketball entertaining regardless and i'm sure there will be some interesting season-to-season narratives would come out of that trend

Apparently more than 3 perennial all stars.

If you only have 3...it's not a super team. Just a "really good" team.

thing is, the dubs dont really rock with specialists. Everybody is a 2way player in their system. So while kover would get multiple open looks on one end, he'd be the target on the other end on defense. That liability is too strong.

I'm sure the pool of dudes wanting to play with gsw will be ripe for the choosing. Dudes want rings. History will forget about it being the 'easy way out'

curry is a 2 way player?

2 way means more than just offense/defense. It's having more than 1 function.

he's a scorer-playmaker. He HAS to be one of the best screening pg's in the game.

And his defense really showed up this playoffs/finals
