That’s a good plan, but I’m ok if they play him (provider he can still pitch).Folks on Reddit made a good point, don’t cut him but don’t play him. As long as you have to pay the salary might as well not have him pitch for another team. Plus it puts the ball in his court to reject his player option for next season.

I think he’s a douche, but if he’s carried out the sentence that legal proceedings have determined are appropriate, then he should be able to play. Plus, I would think he’ll make an effort to be on best behavior now. And if he isn’t, then you sit him.
And I’ll say it again, while marcell ozuna got caught on video with his hands around his wife’s neck and got arrested for DV, served minimal suspension and was back on the field. Then got busted for dui (on camera pulling his mlb card/status ) and being on the field in no timeDude wasn’t charged and he’s served his suspension
