He also drafted Anthony Bennett , Dion Waiters, and Tristan Thompson with top 4 picks lol

I heard that Dan Gilbert forced his hand on Bennett LOL... just mentioning AB's name is a credibility killer.

Tristan wasn't a terrible pick, but maybe 4th was too high for him.

Dion Waiters is a bum.

What GM is flawless?

I thought Dan wanted Oladipo?
You could be right.
Regardless I think the perception of him is flawed largely due to 2016.
I don’t think he’s that good of a GM.

Does it means it over for GS if lebron goes to the rockets though? I'm not sure that's a given considering how many players they may have to get rid of to get lebron
They would only have to get rid of Anderson and maybe Gordon lol....
Idk why you guys keep saying this.

I never understood why guys work with skill trainers who have a large clientele.

You would think they would want their skill trainer to be with them through out the season.

Practice and travel schedules don't allow for it unless the player hires the trainer on retainer.

NBA guys are becoming notoriously cheap as their knowledge about finances grows incrementally.

Why pay for a skills coach when the team pays for Dev coaches that travel with the squad the entire season?

Seems more reasonable to just pay a private guy for the offseason.

Fair enough.

I don't think there are any other outstanding candidates out there though.

Watch Gilbert go and hire Chauncey Billups. LOL!

The Cavs wouldn’t have to take Anderson though.

You would need a third team to do it, but how many teams are out there willing to trade for a guy who rarely plays and makes 20M a year. Lakers have tried this with Deng. It's not that simple

I agree on Embiid.

Last I heard, Lavine’s dad does all the heavy lifting in his development. But it is interesting to see Hanlen doesn’t have anyone other than Beal shooting league average from 3 and he already came with a stroke.

Hmmm

EXACTLY!

Thank you!

He doesn’t need to sign and trade to go LA.

I think y’all know if he goes to Houston that means it’s over for GSW  which is why y’all want him in LA so bad

Nah, not necessarily a sign n trade but to let them know before the draft. So they can do what they need to do (Love, Picks, exct)

I was mainly speaking of the upper echelon players or the ones who should have enough pull to get their trainers hired by the team.

With a healthy steph I don’t consider Lebby with Houston the favorite

The warriors are gonna need a lot more than just a healthy steph.

With all of this winning comes the Pat Riley philosophy of the Disease of More.

More winning, means guys see themselves as more important than they actually are.

Guys want more money, more endorsements, more camera time, their opinions get louder...

Kerr has to manage all of this and no matter how great of a coach he may be, he may not be able to overcome the self absorption than comes with all of this winning.

Throw in a fire accelerant like Draymond and this thing could blow up in their faces over night.

Not to mention the bomb david west dropped about there being a lot of tension behind the scenes in oakland.

And generally speaking, a coach has a good 5 years with a team before players start to tune him out. Where is Kerr on his 5 years?

Lebron has his fitness guy hired by the team... Mike Mancias. But I don't think any players have their own skills coaches hired by the team. At least Lebron, Curry and Harden don't...

This sounds more like a dream you're wishing comes true.

The only thing ending this run earlier than expected is a devastating injury or Yuckmouth continuing to decline offensively.

David West dropped a "bomb" and then it became an absolute non story. No follow up, no "my sources" reporting, nothing. They had all this "turmoil" and still ran through the league.

And only a good 5 years? Greg Popovich would like a word with you.

Get ready for the THREE PEAT!

Yeah the Warriors are in this for the long haul. It honestly doesn't even matter where Bron goes or what moves the league makes, the warriors will be favorites until KD decides he wants his own legacy.

Harden definitely does I think he got hired last year
