Lakers may not get in anyone else this summer. It would be crazy to waste a year of Bron there. He'll be 35 next year. Ain't too many years left with him playing at the level he did last year. It's no guarantee that he can keep that up.

I'd be wildly impressed if he does.

But the more I think of this LeBron move, the more I'm compelled to recall a quote he said during the playoffs regarding playing alongside/against his son in an NBA game would be his greatest achievement. I think the idea of going to LA, enrolling him in Sierra Canyon, and winding down in that area really resonated with him.

He may have made peace with the him never catching MJ or Kareem. His focus could very well be his son. Anything else that happens to him in the NBA is a bonus. Getting Cleveland that title really got the monkey off his back..

I'm not saying this is all facts. Just my speculation.

So what do you suggest they do? Break Curry’s legs? Shoot Durant in the knee cap? Kidnap Pop and make him take BI Hart and a draft pick? How about beg capella to take a 1 year 1 million dollar contract and then send death threats to Daryl Morey about matching?

If Bron Bron goes 2/2 with the Lakers and wins a chip with 3 different franchises and 11 finals appearances all while breaking all time records including Kareem's..I might have to put him ahead of mj

Honestly, I think LeBron trust the Lakers front office and ownership much more than he did Cleveland's. There was no perfect basketball move for him this offseason. I think he knew whichever team he went to would take awhile to become a finished product. there is a reason he signed a four-year contract, he's in it for the long haul.Sure the Lakers could trade all of their young assets to go all in for Kawhi right now but why wait and have him along with the young assets.

Maybe, LeBron has turned a new leaf and he sees that the situation he put management in in Cleveland is unsustainable. Continually signing 1 year deals (other free agents never knew he was committed), putting pressure to make trades and sign bloated contracts only made the team worse, not better.

I hope all y'all dudes that spit that "LeBron is going to turn into Karl Malone and be great till he's 40 ish " are right cause I don't see it..
