and 250 k's ... u defending this dude's season ? his stats are what they are cause he literally just goes up there, no plan, and swings as hard as he can. a dude as strong as he is will get lucky but his 33 are just a result of this dude finally finding the fat of the bat. his BA is the softest .263 you'll ever see, more a result of infielders being terrified of being killed by a screaming drooler that they misplay him

i pray to everything wearing baseball socks this dude makes me look like an ahole and wakes up but this year all i see is a meathead who strikes out wayyyyyy too much and almost never comes thru when we need him. Cap did us dirty

No, Boone, and any prospective need to understand that this is NY. This is the New York Yankees. There is a clear level of expectations. You must earn the right to play and coach the pinstripes. Boone doesn't belong in the majors period. We need someone with a high baseball IQ that lives, breathes, and is willing to give it all to the pinstripes. Boone is a hack, and like most managers, just plug numbers into a system and go based off the best probability. However, there is always those few instances where you just can't calculate in an analytical manner, the human element of the game that separates good managers from great ones. I'd fire Boone, screw him, he isn't worthy of dawning the pinstripes, and again, had it not been for that home run in 2003, he'd be a no one in the grand scheme of the team.

Boone doesn't inspire confidence and is a net negative at his position. To think Girardi isn't here anymore because of how mean he was to Sanchez' lazy ***

Girardi wasnt a perfect manager but he was solid and got fired too quickly... he didnt make the playoffs his first year but his second year on the team he won the world series in 09 when we got the new stadium and new players... then last year we werent expected to be good with the young squad but was still 1 game away from the world series

he was no joe torre with the 5 rings but he also didnt choke an 0-3 series away
