OFFICIAL 2019 COLLEGE FOOTBALL OFFSEASON THREAD

Is possible for NDSU to be forced to move up to FBS?

They should have but they wont. Why when you can get any recruit you want after youve built up that resume.

BUT we'll see how these next cpl years go. The entire team is pretty much seniors this go around and theyre losing another head coach to FBS

Where would they play?

They’d move up if they got a AAC or MWC offer, but there’s no reason to move up to play in the MAC or CUSA.

If the playoff expands and G5’s get an auto bid, I could see BYU going back to the MWC and NDSU moving up as the 14th team.

OSU got a good one.

In re Kliff from a booster:

“He has spoken to both teams and it’s not a sure thing he stays.

The Lynn Swann thing makes no sense to me. Haven’t heard it and don’t know where it’s coming from. I know for a fact he’s spoken to both teams. If he resigns it’s gonna be to take a HC job with Jets or Cards (even though Cards are not exciting for him)....not to interview.”

If he takes the Arizona gig... :lol

Can you imagine being a young coach and taking that job being tied to Josh ****in Rosen as your guy?

No thank you.

My bro tore his ACL in the Natty against NDSU and they lost twice, back to back.
They need to move up. Those dudes are juggernauts.

Already over KK. He can kick rocks

It’s looking like Mike Florio flat out made up that Swann story and took a “no comment” from Kliff and SC as confirmation. Originally he was saying Kliff “could” resign to pursue a head coaching job - that was him guessing at what a person in that position may do to get around the nfl rule.

Now he’s saying that Kliff “could” be a candidate to replace Josh McDaniels in New England.

Silly season is in full swing.

Bru seems like a really polished kid.

Also says he committed back in December on his visit. So did Ford.

I’ve never really watched NDSU... Do they have the athletes on D to compete with a potentially explosive Power 5 O??? What type of offense do they run???

"Man ball", they are what Michigan wants to be offensively.

Realistically I think they'd be a top 35 team in FBS with their roster as is. Sagarin has them at #19 in his ratings.

I’ve seen a handful of their games. They throw to the TE a lot, lot of 2 TE sets, and just pushing their opponents around.

Because it’s FCS though, aside from their QBs I didn’t how much of a talent disparity there was compared to their opponents. They always look super well coached though.
