OFFICIAL 2019 COLLEGE FOOTBALL OFFSEASON THREAD

Judge found that the NCAA's "show cause penalties" are illegal in California according to state law (I'd argue they're unconstitutional but whatever.)

There also may have been juror tampering in the McNair trial that'll come up during appeal.

Iowa-ISU is going to be the best game of that window.

UGA-USCe is over by midway through the third quarter.

Nobody wants to watch Iowa though

A case could be made that Noah Fant and David Montgomery are the best players at their respective positions in the country. Iowa's also got some studs on the DL.

The game isn't completely devoid of talent, and it should actually be competitive unlike UGA-USCe.

Looks like for Michigan Aubrey Solomon will be out for a while with a knee injury. I expect the will move Rashan Gary inside and get Kwity Paye on the outside.

these Polynesians don’t play. Whole family here. Nephews first start after sitting out because he transferred.

Live life weirdo.

casper90403 casper90403 how big is your nephew? Looks like he's a big kid. What year?
6’3 290. junior. Started at right tackle for the first time. Not a fan of it. Likes to mix it up in the interior. But gotta do what they need. Natural position is guard. They have nobody who’s quick enough to play right tackle. But this shows he’s versatile to colleges

Mater Dei is gonna be a problem for these boys. Not ashamed to say it. Bru McCoy is gonna be a problem for the kid. He has 5 weeks to get his reps in. Sitting out for over a year showed.

When you transfer schools you have to sit out a year? Is that a CIF rule? Do you think he has D1 potential?

typically, you sit out the first 5 games. But he transferred out after game 1 of last year so it got reduced to 3 games.

He has D1 potential just on playing on that team in itself. But yes, he's going to start getting offers. Stanford was there today because of the wide receiver that committed to them and they like him. That would be the ultimate destination because he's all about the books. Doesn't even think about playing pro. He wants to go to an Ivy League because of academics like most kids want to go to Bama, USC or ohio state because of sports. He's going for the 40 year plan, in all honesty.

Pops just wants him to get a free ride! Kid has so much pressure on him. You slip up and someone might take your job.

What game ya watching tmr? Clemson vs texas gonna be good hopefully.

Buckeyes vs Rutgers-wanna see if the defense improves and see how Haskins does again. I know it’s a trash opponent but it is what it is

Iowa vs Iowa State- has been exciting the past few years

Clemson vs AM- see the 75 million dollar man get washed

Kentucky vs Florida- maybe Kentucky can end the streak?

And of course USC/Stanford for the fight that will ensue on here

Shea and co. better treat these bishes like a bunch of tomato cans. let's go and show out against a sub par opponent like most of CFB did last week
