Forced I still think GS is the easy choice. Do I feel as good about it as past years? Absolutely not.
It’s going to be hell for them coming out of the West:1st vs Rockets or Spurs or Utah or Memphis or Kings rd 1.
2nd rd vs Clippers or Lakers or Portland
3rd vs OKC or Denver in WCF

Finals they might face a Toronto who’s been waiting on West for 11days

Ya'll do this same thing about GS every year man.... Teams been leaving Draymond "open" for years how has that turned out?

Now all of a sudden the Warriors should be scared of The Kings or Nuggets come playoff time?

They are still easily the favorites to win this year

With that said L.A has the best chance in the West of matching up with the waarriors.

Yeah, because when it comes playoff time, it becomes an 8 man rotation and the warriors have that, especially with Cousins' return.

That being said, out of the three years KD's been there, they seem to be the most valuable this year.

I mean last year didn't they finish the last 20-30 games at basically .500?

This year Both Steph & Draymond have already missed 10+ games, Jones who was considered a starter for them is out, they still have Boogie coming in... And either way they are still 1 game back of the number one seed.

Last year atleast Houston was creating a huge gap as far as the # 1 seed goes, at this pace the Warriors could play mediocre ball and still get home court.

I just don't see just how "vulnerable"this team is come playoff time.

I watched the most of the first four games this year . Is it just me or did they play that Lebby - Rachel Nichols interview as well as clips from it multiple times? It’s like damb ESPN - we get it. The media (you guys) blew up a quote involving KD, Lebby and the word toxic.

Felt like they really wanted to cram that whole naarrative down our throats last night.

If this doesn't put Coach on the hot seat, I don't know what will.

This has been going on for a couple of weeks now and I like it.

“I felt like I could have done more,” Embiid said after a 121-114 overtime loss to the Celtics on Christmas Day. “I didn’t get the ball. The ball didn’t find me in the fourth quarter and overtime, so, in those situations, I’ve got to show up, but I also have to be put in the right situations to be able to help this team. I felt like I wasn’t in the right situation. We lost. I put this heavily on me because I know I could have done more, and the more I was playing, all day they couldn’t guard me, and they were playing a lot of 1-on-1, double-teaming on the first dribbles, but I have to find a way to adjust through that and just be myself.”

Any ambiguity that may have seemed present in those sentiments was quickly dispelled when Embiid was asked why he thought the ball did not find him down the stretch.

“Don’t know,” the big man responded. “Got to ask coach.”

Not being a jerk but what do you think Brown can do differently with that roster? Especially late in the 4th

This is directed towards Brown but also is a shot at Simmons. Cs switched up and started doubling Joel (usually Simmons guy) and Ben just stands there in the lane. Joel does need to get better at recognizing doubles and passing out of them but when guys are just standing around the arc and not even moving to get open, that's not his fault

Brown wants this motion offense but guys stand still whenever Joel posts up. Ben passes to Joel and an immediate double off Ben and he just stands there.

You can put shooters next to Ben and Joel but there's always going to be spacing issues due to Ben no matter what. Thats why you see more line ups featuring Ben without Joel (sans opening/closing) but with Jimmy and Joel with JJ/TJ and no Ben/Jimmy. Joel needs a guy who can give him an entry pass and run PnR with. Ben needs a running mate on the wing.

Here’s the thing with Ben Simmons. He’s good enough to where he’s going to make your team really good, but his limitations make it where it’s easy for some of the top teams in the league to gameplan against him. A combo guard that can guard both guard positions and shoot from outside and allow him to mostly be in a PF role instead of full-time PG is the only way we’re winning a championship with him.

Also can’t have his backup PG be another non-shooter.

I get that but put him where? In the 4th quarter you want to rub everything through Embiid, which means we are helping off Ben every single time. We can kind of cheat off Jimmy too. Wilson Chandler can beat us and we are hugging JJ.
Doesnt matter since he wont shoot. Still gonna be 4 on 5. But when he's running the late game offense, teams will sag off into the paint and he will stand there with the ball looking to pass
