The “tour” thing actually started with Kareem. His was a pretty big deal. Got a bunch of gifts and stuff at arenas all over the league.

It's diff tho. Kobe said he's retiring in November. Teams wanted to honor him. He wasn't forcing dudes to give them their jerseys on camera. Teams gave Kobe gifts. Boston gave him a piece of floor. Warriors gave him 5 star accommodations for 2 in Napa valley. Wade scamming love.

Likewise, he was declining within the past 2-3 years and he just casually cruised on playing the game. But I’ll always appreciate young/prime Wade.

I don’t want to do any comparison but for me, Kobe was still going hard towards the very end of the battle.

I and many others would love for Wade to give us a great show tonight.
