Is there any possibility that when the next CBA rolls around, bench/role players start revolting against the union? These supermax contracts are gonna eat hard into their money. 60 mil to Gobert 50 mil to 11 other guys, including other stars/superstars (Mitchell). We’re about to see an NBPA French Revolution
The way it’s set up right now is for the middle class in the nba to flourish.
Lets say you get rid of max contract caps but kept the salary cap in tact. Then all the best players would get stupid paid and the middle class / role players would get scraps.

I agree with this. And that goes the same for Tobias. Brand will need to exercise his negotiation power which was actually one of Colangelo's strengths.
