Like I said, where is this energy when harden chokes EVERY year? You have no problem calling out a role player but find a way to lower the bar for your star player. EVERY time. And you pointed out yourself that they were still capable of winning with capela being trash. If Westbrook puts up numbers and then shoots his team out the game what do you say? But if harden has key turnovers and gives up wide open layups to seal the game it's..hey, we weren't supposed to win anyway. I don't get it

Heat series, early Portland series, early Clips series + the comeback as he set, and 1 and a quarter games vs the Spurs. Those are the games/series Harden can have blame pinned on him and be rightfully slandered. Your problem (and several others) is not using context in the least. You can’t put losses on 1 person, but through those 6 games, there literally wasn’t a reason for any slander of him as his play was only marginal difference from the regular season. Meanwhile, Capela was a non-factor and Paul was pedestrian through 5 games. He put up stats that would’ve been nice for Lin, Lamb, or Felton, but not for him and not for what the team needed. Those aren’t made up things, those aren’t excuses, those are facts that happened while watching that series. And don’t even get me started on MDA, who pulled some of the same crap he pulled two years ago stymieing guys who he went to war with during the regular season only to pretend they don’t exist in the playoffs. I feel like I’m talking to toddlers at a daycare again.

You outta line with this daycare ******** bruh. Go somewhere with that. You talk about these aren't excuses, these are facts but when I point out harden's flaws you gloss over it and act like it doesn't matter. I'm good. 'Literally no reason for any slander'..FOH

Would you say Harden should think about adjusting his game?

Do you think having your franchise player shoot 41 FG% and 32 PT% in the playoffs is good through 7 years?

Possibly work off the ball some?

They wanna make Harden an all time great but don't wanna judge him by all time great rules. Imagine if Bean got the excuse that Pau played like a soft piece of baby poop and LO was sporadic in his play in the 08 finals. Nah Kobe shoulda played better especially in that critical game 4. Harden should have played better in game 6 no way around it. Those terrible turnovers and missed free throws were inexcusable given the stakes.

So if Harden has all these glaring flaws, which is a different topic entirely, and one I don’t even necessarily disagree with (I would disagree if the argument is he is why they lost). And if you were making a list of the best players in that series and Harden is the only Rockets player in the top 5. So you’re already pretty well behind the 8 ball.

You are expecting Chris Paul, Eric Gordon, Austin Rivers, Clint Capela, PJ Tucker to match Steph, Klay, Draymond, Iggy

No coach alive is going to match them under the circumstances present.

5 quarters without KD they have at best an outside shot. The Warriors were still a better team even if KD didn’t play the series at all

:rofl::rofl: series was literally 2-2 WITH KD playing. Every game was close. The hell are you talking about?

Point blank period

There's nothing else that needs to be said when your franchise guy is severely below NBA average EVERY YEAR. it's been proven that if you want to win big you can't do it playing like that & & yet him & Dantoni have not tried to make a bit of change in that.

Hell Morey is supposed to be this genius analytics guy, how about analyzing those numbers & conceding that this style of play isn't condusive in the playoffs.

The Rockets owner is cousin to Frank and Lorenzo Fertita, the former UFC owners.

They’re all heavy in the Vegas casino/hotel game so good chance Tillman is a savage on the low.

Tmac was just talking about this. second2nonee second2nonee acts like like Mac ain't qualified to talk.

I haven't been in this thread in a minute and I'm probably behind 20+ pages. Should I go back and read for this context of why the Rockets have been brought up?

As far as the T-Mac thing goes, it's obviously in jest. Dudes act like I'm supposed to care about what a 2nd round virgin gotta say about the playoffs

Man what

G6 Steph had zero points in the first half. wasn’t even on the floor for a large stretch so he couldn’t even effect the game with his gravity.

Tie game at half anyway, with Rockets trailing for most of those 24 minutes

So we remove KD, we basically remove Steph and now their #1 option is a guard who doesn’t even like dribbling yet Houston is still having issues.

No real shooters on the floor and they’re still losing track of Klay? Harden high 80s from the line & missing 5? Idiotic turnover in the final 120 seconds?

Houston had much better than an “outside shot” That was a heartless ending top to bottom. Coaching staff, players, everyone
