I'm not comparing the magnitude of both in the sense of what each means to the entire NBA. but one player got killed because he joined a team that he had just lost to in a playoff series. The other player would be returning to a team that discarded him in a salary dump...and had it's figurehead GM publicly trash him after drafting his replacement who isn't HALF as talented.
Wouldn't that be "weak" to return to that franchise after your glow up that came somewhere else...just like it was "weak" for KD to play "if you can't beat em, join em"? If we're judging both scenarios on the "pride" scale...both actions are weak in the barbershop right? Please tell me im wrong.
