Has there been a free agent this year that Lakers fans haven’t said they’re gonna sign at one point?

KD? Yep
Klay? Yep yep
Kawhi? Yep
Kemba? Yep
Butler? Yep
Dlo? Yep Yep Yep Yep
Kyrie? Yep

Y’all think we make this up but y’all really link every free agent to your team every year

Also, y’all keep talking about DLo coming home. Which means y’all can’t sign Kawhi. But let a report say y’all aren’t signing kawhi and it’s somehow anti-laker talk :lol

So you want Lakers fans who weren't high on D'lo to not want him to come to their MUCH IMPROVED team now.... for the sake of them not wanting to be wrong??:lol:

I've always been in the middle with D'lo always thought he had the potential to be what he was this season a borderline AS and good scorer... i don't see him as much past that. With that said i understand how some in our fanbase would have celebrated the trade then & also want him back now

1) At the time of the trade it was viewed as a way to get us to two max slots (assuming those players were gonna be LBJ & PG). i'm doing that 100/100 times until this very day
2) there's a big difference between wanting D'lo as the guy you build your roster around for the next decade or adding him to be the third option next to Lebron & AD.

You have THE WORSE comprehension skills on here bar none

NO. I'm not saying say that. For the 666th time...you understand and prioritize basketball logic when it's a benefit to your team. You're willing to turn a blind eye to whatever dramatic narrative there is in the story...but bring out the pitchforks in others. Never once did I compare the two and claim that each and every facet of both were the exact same. I compared ONE ASPECT of each scenario.

Do I have to draw this **** in pictures or something? Why is it some people in here clearly understand the parallel I'm making and why I'm making it?

Even sohi 23 sohi 23 understands it...despite thinking he doesn't

You’re saying that the basketball fit should be all that matters and all that other **** is noise. I mean I guess

lakers will not make playoff next season. lebum and trash ad will get injured.

They got big energy after that trade ( which was bound to happen anyway) :lol ... everything is guaranteed for em now and anything different is fake news or has an agenda

There's a difference between saying you could see a FA signing with your squad... & guaranteeing it 100%.

The same way Clippers fans are gonna swear up & down that they never expected any of the big name FA's to sign there.... despite doing the exact same thing Laker fans have been doing, and despite the media trying to hammer in for months that they are the better destination for FA's in L.A.

We saw this happen last year with Lebron and once the dust settled it went from Lakers were never getting Lebron to "but but but.... we never guaranteed anything".

Yes the fanbase **** on him, me being the ring leader, but the NBA is a strange place. It just so happens he's going to be the best guard on the market available and we have a glaring need for one.
Chilllllllllllll. :lol

I would never.

But he did

She's trying to get him to ask for a trade, I'm sure of it.

She should sell the team.

But realistically what they should've done the week they fired Luke is fire Rob Pelinka and being in somebody outside of the Laker family to run bball ops and do a proper front office and roster construction. It's not that hard. Money shouldn't be a deterrent.

Or alternatively just trade Lebron and hit a reset.

Honestly the infrastructure isn't good enough and hasn't been since Dr. Buss to star chase, we gotta build it another way. Bring Juju back and trade Lebron for whomever gets the #2 pick.

Draft Zion and trade Lebron

Bro. There’s posters of theirs that are literally saying that Ballmer is paying off media members to talk bad about the Lakers. It’s gone that far.

Bro you the wale of the basketball thread, none of that ******** is beyond comprehension it's simply not a logical point.

Under no circumstance Laker fan or not is any reasonable person gonna expect D'Lo to get the same heat as KD because their two completely different situations.

Well Kyrie, Klay, and Kemba aren't going to be available for us soooo who is the next best guard?
:lol OK. Just take the best three or four guards off the market, then yeah.

I still think I'd build that roster out waaaay differently than the Lakers are going to end up doing it. If I'm them I'm looking around and not really seeing the need for a third star and another big mouth to feed. But they're clearly not thinking that way.

Once again, the only person to guarantee Kawhi to the Clippers was MVP MVP . He also said AD was not going to the Lakers multiple times. He also has said Kawhi is not going to the Lakers over and over again. Unless he is also getting pid by Ballmer. The last month was worst case scenario for the Clippers.

KD tears achilles
Klay tears ACL
Kawhi wins a championship

Those were the three players we had been linked to the most and none of them should come to the Clippers now. You guys get upset because reporters have us ahead of you guys for Kawhi. Vegas has us ahead of you guys. But instead of thinking maybe there’s something to that, you guys have constructed this scenario where the media has a vendetta against you guys. You spend all year talking about the Lakers being the most popular team in America. But now ESPN hates you guys? Wouldn’t it make more sense to report positively on the Lakers?
