I've lived in ny for 30 years and I think this loyalty to the knicks is silly

There's one organization that's basically pocketing your money and doing nothing to reward your loyalty. And there's another organization that's actually committed to putting together a team that fans can root for.

You guys putting blind loyalty behind a crappy organization is half the reason why there's no urgency for them to make any true change.

So? and the Bulls beat your team, who cares? You keep bringing up support, attendance and yadda yadda because you know that's the one thing your team can definitively beat the Nets in. That's cool and I get it.

The Bulls are a storied franchise. People still buy Jordan jerseys. None of this Nets talk would have ever started without a rumor of the biggest weirdo in the NBA (Kyrie) wanting to go there.

Knicks front office keeps being overlooked for w.e reason. It’s been the best front office since the Donnie Walsh years. These are respectable personnel with plenty of experience. People can mention Dolan all they want, but he never cares about the money and hasn’t interfered until firing Phil. We’ll see what happens in free agency.

Honest question, no troll. How bad would it be for knick fans if Brooklyn lands KD and Kyrie. Or do y’all truly not care. @nickmaz96 big j 33 big j 33

I'm not in the city so I can't speak to the fanbase in that way.. but it would absolutely feel like a disappointment if we miss out on the big FA guys. I honestly never bought into the KD to NY hype, but missing out on Zion really did hurt. I'm coming around on RJ and Knicks fans are resilient so we're already hyped for his potential.

KD and Kyrie going to the Nets wouldn't hurt me s a Knicks fan. I don't really see them as a rival and we've been so bad for so long I don't even really view any rivalries for us. I don't care for Boston and that's about it. It would feel the same as if they went to any other team.

Lottery bad luck, KD injury bad luck, Knicks bad luck, we're used to it. I think what makes things better is that Mills and Perry seem to be focused and on the same page. Knicks fan are starving for competency in the FO and it feels like we have it, despite Dolan still breathing. I think that makes things less frustrating and more hopeful. The Nets won't change anything for me at least.

Windy on the Lowe pod today brought up a good point on Marcus morris, he only got paid 20 over 4 years

Makes me double think if he’s really down to take some sort of low contract for a contender

how much does marcus morris command? he's solid, but i wouldn't say he plays big minutes on a contender
he's decent at a lot of things, but not a "specialist"

Easy answer would be to form 3 more gleague affiliates. Every team SHOULD have one anyway for player development.
Yeah thats the only answer but those still take a few years of planning. Pelicans getting one this year based in Alabama but they playing their first year in Pennsylvania.

I gotta be honest...
as a lifelong knicks fan it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth seeing and reading the hatred based off of ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but your own SOFT inferiority complexes as it relates to NYC towards the knicks.
**** all of you that take unnecessary shots at the knicks.

our time will come and when it does, you will know what type of time we'll be on. trust me.

also, as far as the nets, I couldn't give 72 ****s if they resurrected the 96 bulls, signed them and won it all.

In this market it’s tough to say, I automatically figured he’d take a lower deal not knowing he’d only made 20. He was definitely underpaid the last 4 years

I think he’s a playoff rotation player on a contender

I'm not even talking about free agency. No one knows anything yet, just rumors. And Idc about the new FO, everything's new and blah, blah. not sure why that's mentioned

Russell not even in the top 30 in jersey sales. Brooklyn no where to be found on any merchandise sales list. Meanwhile we win 17 games and...

Best selling team product list

01. Los Angeles Lakers
02. Golden State Warriors
03. Boston Celtics
04. Philadelphia 76ers
05. Milwaukee Bucks
06. Chicago Bulls
07. Oklahoma City Thunder
08. Houston Rockets
09. Toronto Raptors
10. New York Knicks

They were also last in attendance. But some ppl in here call it the new Mecca >D

also, the fact that ppl are even entertaining asking about the nets after the snake **** they're trying to pull and after years of being in jersey is ridiculous to me.
what do YOU think.

the question is rhetorical. what do we think about the nets?
same thing I think about trump and ice; next question.

Oh you big mad huh B?

I don't see it as hate, just truth telling. The mecca has won ONE playoff series since the year 2000. ONE series in almost TWENTY years! How can you fix ya lips to call it hate? You're a laughing stock that prints money because of your location. Any other city would've had their franchise re-located given that level of incompetence.

Some of y’all treat sports as though it’s a reflection of yourselves

Most people cheer for the home team which is perfectly fine.

None of y’all play or work for the teams y’all support.

Cause your team wins more doesn’t make you better than a Knicks fan

If you remove fans from the equation and want to say the knicks are a terribly run organization that’s fine.

But why clown fans as they have no control over these matters?

It’s mentioned because the new FO seems more sensible/competent than recent iterations, but that doesn’t fit the narrative

you speak as if you're informing me and other knicks fans of things we aren't aware of.
which again, is insulting.

It’s all apart of sports. I’ll never expect a self proclaimed fanatic to be rational so it’s all good :lol
