I don't mind that, Knicks fans do that **** all the time, but when you're using that to criticize the current FO that had nothing to do with those decisions then cmon.Is that not what people are making fun of? The historically bad decision making and running of operations by the organization?

By all accounts we were poised to have KD migrate to the Big Apple to play in the Garden and we make cap space to get him a 2nd star to work with while getting rid of an oft injured and disgruntled player and keeping young prospects to work with and now we're dumbasses again because KD tore his ******* achilles? Like cmon how is that an indictment of our FO capabilities?

I member when the front office was poised to get Lebron once upon a time and cleared the decks for him. I always thought KD and Kyrie were a package deal but to my knowledge Kyrie hasn't expressed any interest in going to the Knicks. SAS said earlier there has been some trepidation by Dolan to offer KD a max deal coming off of the Achilles injury so don't know exactly what to make of that.

Just what Portland needs -- another slow footed big man that would be better served playing in the 80's and 90's that Draymond can just beat of the dribble consistently
The NBA could have nipped all this in the bud if they would have squashed that #Popoviching nonsense that night when the Spurs sat players when they were in South Beach on a national TNT game on a Thursday night. But since Pop had a few rings it was deemed okay and now it has festered into this load management nonsense. Where the ticket buying public can't even buy in good faith because you don't know who is scheduled for a day off until the tip off. So you create a mid season cup, lower the amount of games, and have a play in tournament to basically force the players to suit up for all the games because they mean something in the standings.

They have no great achievements yet. They also have no great failures. What's happening with KD isn't a failure of the FO. **** just happens sometimes.So the front office's greatest achievement was hypothetically signing KD?
Expecting them to immediately turn around 2 decades of dysfunction in less than 2 years is both unrealistic and unfair. Not to fans, but to them.
They're doing exactly what they're supposed to be doing in a rebuild. Retain young talent while putting yourself in a position to sign stars.
