Russ is an outlier. And he won MVP for averaging a triple double for 1st time in 40 years, so it was justifiable at the time.
Most times, MVP is pretty significant. In fact, some Lakers fans were in here pumping up that AF came in 3rd in MVP voting once.
But hey, you picking AD over Giannis is pretty consistent with your takes in this thread, so go for it...
