Of course...but someone would be crazy if they think that Ben Simmons working on his jump shot is somehow a new part of his routine or some ****. He's a basketball player. 100% of them do this. I promise you...somewhere this summer...Bismack Biyombo has shot basketballs in a gym. People see ONE video, and lose their **** these days.
The guy's tweet is correct in that there are a million idiots who would see a video of him eating frozen yogurt with some instagram ***** and think that he's "not working on his game". But don't be an idiot in the other direction and get excited because you see a video of something a person didn't just start doing.
Personally...I think the mass obsession with his lack of shooting is ****ing absurd. I get the jokes...but beyond that part it's really weird now. Ben Simmons is not the first ****ing basketball player who was a poor shooter
. It's a weakness, yes...a glaring one particularly because of how the game is played today and his position. He also has many strengths...which he opts to play towards as efficiently as he SHOULD. If he played for the Suns or some other team who has nothing to lose, maybe he can develop his jump shot on company time. Obviously, he doesn't have that luxury on a contending team.
