Clippers probably have the best depth around their duo but it’s kinda wild that nobody gave any consideration to a Bron/AD team winning it  I mean Bron is Bron & while AD hasn’t done much past April, he’s still averaged 30 in every playoff series he’s ever been in. He might not be a #1, but a #2 guy? Him and Bron can take you a loooong way barring health.

I’m not writing them off until they’re actually eliminated

We know why :lol

This was the place where they executed their offseason playbook, where long days and short nights became the norm for this front office that might be the deepest and most talented in the league.

In the days leading up to Leonard’s decision, their core group — Frank, general manager Michael Winger, assistant general managers Mark Hughes and Trent Redden, and executive director of research and identity Lee Jenkins — had barely slept.

Lee Jenkins really got us Kawhichael :pimp:

Avy check

To this day, I still don't know how Ernie Grunfeld picked him up

To this day, I don’t know how Lakers waived him basically for Zubac, then traded Zubac for more heaps of trash, on top of that drafted Wagner over Mitch Robinson. Our 5 spot could’ve been solidified with youth and versatility on cheap contracts if we just kept it simple and smart. Actually I do know how, Magic you dumb ************

Folks have recency bias and believe Bron is washed that's why the so called executives aren't giving the Show consideration. Crow will be eaten.

Bron lost his footing as #1 in the league at least two years ago to me (But the media was absolutely running with that he's the best in the league title when he was in his last playoffs with Cleveland )

I'm not tripping off the best player in the league... But out of these "sources" The Jazz got a vote to make it to the WCF before the Lakers.... they asked for singular moves that were the worst of the offseason... and the most votes were the Knicks entire offseason

it's clear as day that this was thrown out there with the intention of getting clickbait & having three of the biggest fanbases react

Lakers fans, Knicks fans & Lebron stans ... they know exactly what their doing.

:lol that's probably exactly it.

Crazy to think that the Lakers had two ridiculously high-upside bigs on their roster in Z and TB.

unless we have two different ideas of "Ridiculously high upside" we didn't have that

With that said both could have been very useful last year & magic ****** that up, in hindsight it doesn't matter because the Lakers wouldn't have either one on roster this year due to the AD trade & them needing maximum cap space so it's a wash. They weren't paying either one of those guys the money they got.

You literally said exactly that just 3-4 months ago.

I'd be much more willing to part with some of the young guys if Bron wasn't in his washed state. He's likely not even going to be a top 5 player in the world after this season, we know AD has had his issues being the number 1 guy. Even in a KD less West there are still obstacles to get over that I'm not sure a declining Bron and AD can overcome.

They didn't want to play with washed Kobe. They don't wanna play with washed Bron.

Bron washed af

If Bron wasn't washed, maybe

Come save washed Bron please Myrie

We got the washed version of Bron

Bron washed smh

I don't get the pushback against being the man. There has to be hierarchy in any organization, especially a sports team. It would be unnatural if that wasn't the case. If you're not the chief then just be a soldier. It's not dismissive or belittling, it's just natural order and everybody has to know their role. It would be just as unproductive if the most talented player shied away from taking the mantle as the leader. Everybody isn't 'equal' and doesn't have the same responsibility. Just a fact of life

Let's go back in time for a second...

What was your initial reaction when this switch happened?

Man I had significant bag on that series with a friend who took the Cavs even though he would have been better off betting on sportsbooks

My initial reaction was Steph finna show hes the best player in the league

Top-3 seed

Who's your best player? Kemba?

i dont see anyone mentioning the trash *** LOLakers. lmao

Let em sleep

Crazy thought, but what if OKC keeps their players and trade assets for Beal?

CP3/ Dennis
SGA/
Beal/ Robertson (if healthy)
Gallo/
Adams/ Noel

That's pretty solid.

I been trying to say this :lol

Folks gonna learn about TB. If Brooks stops screwing around, he should be averaging something in the neighborhood of 18/8.

He has really improved man. Really wanted him for the Cs this summer, but they didn't have the full MLE to offer him.

Been trying to tell yall about TB. Capela+jumpshot+motor=Thomas Bryant

Of course in hindsight w/ the current lakers team, it doesn't matter...and I can't speak much on Z, but there's no reason for Bryant NOT to develop in the same way with the Lakers that he has for the Wizards if they held on to him.

And yes...we do have different ideas of ridiculously high upside. Good chance TB ends up in the MIP conversation if he can stay healthy this year. Big steps for him considering he's just going to be 22 in a few weeks.

Perfect big in today's evolving NBA.

Why is the unanimous MVP passing to draymond green with a ring on the line?
