The load management is frustrating. I can see where it comes from , but at what point does it stop? Let's say the season is cut down to 70 games, after a few years people will be load managing that, until the NBA season essentially comes down to 29 games and then the playoffs.

Like I’d rather Hakeem in a heartbeat at either big spot.. depending on who I had on the roster, I’d rather Rodman for everything he offered outside of offense (not saying Rodman was better, but if you could get away with not needing his offense I’d rather him assuming I had a team who could have handled him).. mchale doesn’t get enough love.. then you have guys who came after like Garnett, dirk and obviously the GOAT Timmy
90s were perfect for him.. now, he’s obviously a center.. he had some range but I wonder how his game translates to now with how physical he was and how he used his strength

We are just talking about PFs though. Karl Malone in the 90s, not Dream, not translating his game in a hypothetical manner.
The original statement basically challenged the idea of him being regarded as the best PF of all time.
If not him, then who.
If you are campaigning Barkley, what would be your objective argument that favors Barkley over Karl Malone?
