This is a serious disregard for the player that Malone was and probably giving a bit too much credit to Stockton.
That wasn't a Chris Paul/ David West type of situation where West was INFINITELY better when Paul was his teammate and significantly worse without him.

Im literally watching KCP shoot highschool 3s which is the equivalent to an NBA mid range.

Malone would have done fine without Stockton. Debatable whether he is a top 4 all time scorer without him.
My comment was in response to DC saying there is no Sloane or Stockton without Malone. Sloane like any coach had his legacy hitched to whatever great player he might get to coach.
Stockton on the other hand would have still been a top steals and assist man without Malone. Nobody is selling Malone short. He played with a guard and system that was perfect for his game and he clearly put the work into his fitness and game to take advantage of it.

Debating the "What if" is probably the most disingenuous, pointless level of debating. So totally not worth it.
However after a quick search there were only 8 games while both players were on Utah where both weren't healthy and in the lineup (which is f***** incredible btw).
So with there being less than a 10 game sample size, there is no legit way to quantify what you claim to be debatable.
