It’s best for all parties if he signs elsewhere. Kemba keeps them good enough to not be terrible but not good enough to be a legit playoff team. Hornets need to trust the process and suck for a few years to build a team. Hornets should have traded him for some young pieces and picks a year ago.

Collecting assets to be able to add All-Stars while also grooming even more current and future All-Stars was what The Process was all about.

It’s interesting though - I’m trying to think of an already good team that’s going to have cap space in the Summer where Kemba would be a good fit and am struggling. Most teams in that category already have the PG spot covered...He could work on the Lakers maybe, but we know they have their sights on bigger targets.

Do the Knicks have two max spots this Summer? If they can add Kemba and another star to Krispy, maybe them...
