Isn’t Anthony Davis a free agent and can be signed without moving any assets next summer?
The Knicks would be crazy to move the number 1 pick for him. New Orleans has no type of leverage whatsoever. It’s more desperation on the Lakers end given Lebron only has so many elite seasons left, but even still I can’t get on board with giving up what New Orleans wants for a guy who is a free agent next summer.
Zion and whatever free agents come this summer would set the Knicks up nicely. I got a feeling the Pelicans are going to overplay their hand Anthony Davis wise though.
