Official 2019 NYK offseason thread. Brooklyn knick fans check in

Would it be possible to get Beal without giving up the #3 pick and Mitch, but having the Dallas picks and everyone else on the table/available? Just thinking how crazy that would be if we got Kyrie and KD and were able to add Beal and keep Mitch and the 3 pick.

- DSJR/Knox + 2 Dallas 1st picks & 2019 2nd round pick for Beal?

- I dont know if that’s enough
-At least for Washington, they’ll get 2 young players on friendly contract plus 3 picks.
That’s great with their cap situation and the fact they’re paying wall $38M+

Mitch
KD
Beal
RJ
T. Rozier

Why do IG posts open at the bottom of the comments now instead of the post with the info? that **** is wild annoying.

Ya bugging with these trade scenarios man.

To me this is entirely to much for that dude. You're giving away two lottery picks, plus 2 potential good picks and a 2nd rounder? What the F!

Nah, since Beal is always brought up I was thinking what it would take to get him. I already mentioned I’d rather go with the youth movement, adding KD but not trading for AD.

Ya saying he’s the 3rd best SG and some are saying don’t overvalue our young guys. Which one is it ?

I’d be cool with Beal as long as it doesn’t mean giving up our #3 pick (aka RJ), Mitch, it BOTH of Dallas’s picks.

Trier, Knox, Frank lol, and 1 of Dallas’s FRP should be good man

I don't want to trade for no one... AD is cool but i rather go in with Mitch zo and dsjr Knox and see what they can do in 2 more seasons. I know we don't have time for that. But with KD's prime window closing, Kyrie always injured, I don't know if I want to commit to those two if it means gutting our young guys for AD...

We won't have much wiggle room for vets

If we're drafting RJ we need shooters. Trade DSJr for a vet shooter, trade Frank for the Cavs pick and draft Okpala or Windler.

Play him as the primary playmaker if we strike out on stars during free agency. Keep the rest of the young guys together, sign some vet role players and play uptempo, spread the floor. Another developmental year but one step closer to competing. Would have to hope and pray RJ ends up good enough long term though and that's where it gets murky.

"The order of the draft’s “big three” was assumed to be Zion Williamson to the Pelicans, Morant to the Grizzlies, and RJ Barrett to the New York Knicks. Yet following a recent decision to undergo knee surgery, Morant may not be headed to Memphis after all." -Daily Knicks

But then there's this news: RJ Barrett Declining Request From Grizzlies For Private Workout

Personally, the Knicks need to take RJ if he's available at the 3. A combination of RJ, KD and another superstar sound promising. If he's not available at the 3, taking a post knee surgery Morant is more questionable.

Since our chances of getting Kyrie and KD are growing slimmer and slimmer, I want to trade for that PHX #6 pick.

Kyrie is really willingly choosing between the Lakers & Nets

What a ******* moron man :smh:
