First off, a verbal agreement means nothing. DJ verbally committed to Dallas and then resigned with LA. Even if there was such an agreement and we traded our picks to dump THJR and Lee’s contract, KD still tore his Achilles. So now we have no picks, KP is gone, and we’d be completely ******.

It's a clear drop off in talent after #3. Makes no sense to trade a dollar for 4 quarters.

If Donavan Mitchell was the next pick, then yea i'd say we wasted the pick.
He's 20, wont call it a wasted pick until he's been in the league for more than 3-4 years or outta the league. Which ever comes first.
