Getting a small PG in Garland or Morant as great as they will probably be, throws a wrench in the rebuild imo. We already have DSJ and though they might be better prospects, a PG is only as good as the tools around him.

RJ would be more of a needle mover and fit in with the group that we have right away, he's also a rarer commodity with his size and skill set.

I was high on Morant going into the lottery but at this point I'd be very disappointed if we didn't get RJ.

Then again this rumor is coming from *****ass Vescey, so it should be taken with a grain of salt.

^ exactly no need for a pg with dsjr in the mix... not saying hes the future but rj would be a better fit... it still remains to be seen we could possibly get kyrie and kd so definitely no need to pick a pg in the draft... lets keep it real though when was the last time Peter Vascey was relevant lol... i dont trust his sources

I only got to see RJ a few times in the tourney, but how good is his ballhandling and passing? From what I've heard, he can play the point at 6'7". May not be as good as Morant or have as much potential as Garland, but I'll take a tall distributing wing who can be the primary ballhandler first, honestly. Morant is probably a better bet at being great, but something needs to be said about that length and defensive potential when you're trying to draft a cornerstone player.
