i got no idea about second round picks but we got the 6th pick so i'm really interested in how that turns out. always some diamonds in the rough and the knicks got a good, albeit short streak with all that

**** it, let's get some undrafted players too

He wants his 5th year on the contract that only GS could give him
That's great and all, but that means we would need to give up assets in a sign and trade when he could just come here without.

Now, if that sign and trade means we could sign KL and KI and bring him via trade. I'm all in, but if it brings just him while stripping us of assets. Me no like.

Most of the time sign and trade scenarios like that you don’t really give up too much. Maybe like a 2nd round pick and Frank.

I’m not sure if there’s much truth to it, but I speculate that maybe that’s what the Warriors are throwing out there to save themselves.

Man, tell KD to go to Brooklyn if he's that eager for NYC. We're not in the business of making the loss of a player easier for the team he's leaving.

I get why the Warriors would do it, and I get why KD wants as long a contract as possible, but **** outta here. What's the benefit for us.

Would salaries have to match for a sign and trade?
Actually nah, I don't think so. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with the cap room we have we don't have to make salaries match. Same with the Rockets hilariously trying to move CP3 to the Knicks for some picks and trash.

But still, not with it at all. I don't want an aging star returning from an Achiles tear at 32.
