Saban just wants Gus Malzahn to stay at Auburn.
Gus is a decent coach, his offense is just predictable and the fact that he's married to it may be his downfall.

If I was Texas I would be throwing the house at Matt Rhule. I'm sure that delusional fan base will complain that isn't a 'big' enough name.
Well, that's certainly one way to try and get out of having to pay a buyout
They have a top 5-10 roster talent wise according to recruiting composites.Texas has tried the "successful at a smaller school" route with Strong and Herman and neither worked.
I don't understand why they want to fire Tom Herman. They were ahead of schedule last season and played over their heads. Maybe that gave Texas fans unrealistically high expectations for this season. On top of that, all their candidates are pipe dreams (Urban Meyer and Mike Shannanan type stuff). Give him another year or two to figure it out. Doesn't he have some crazy buy out too?
People had Texas primed as a team to take a step back this year. What am I missing here?
Can they pry away a guy like PJ Fleck?
Nooooooo. I mean, they could. But noooooooo
Didn’t he just sign a big extension? Not that it makes coaches stay but still
i dont think it kicks in until end of Dec?? Sounded like there was an out.Didn’t he just sign a big extension? Not that it makes coaches stay but still
was this a good listen?

Ummmm.....Ok? I guess guys who no one thought was going pro need to "declare" that they're coming back next season.
