Kawhi is an elite defender but similar to most guys who initiate the offense, he only plays on the other team's best player in spurts. Honestly, as his offensive load has increased, his defense is slipped which is understandable. Casual fans act like he's initiating the offense and guarding the other team's best player for 40 minutes.
