Resourcefulness relates to his ability to switch up his style of play based on how the defense attacks him. He can drive, dish, run, shoot from deep, controls pace of the game, etc. Giannis has 1 gear and if the defense attacks him and keeps him out of the paint, he doesn’t have that 2nd or 3rd resource.

BUT that’s what drives the NBA now. Luka’s offensive game is enough to put him over the top. Giannis is not a great enough defensive player for that to outweigh Luka’s skill and leadership of the offense.

It doesn't matter what an NBA player says. They aren't getting paid to evaluate talent.
Being able to impact the game on both ends of the floor is a PLUS in my opinion.
Yes, scoring is the most important ISOLATED skill for sure, I have never denied that.
But if I am looking at an entire player, I look at both sides of the ball not just one.
