That makes sense, but at the same time, it’s not realistic to think there wouldn’t have been another terrible police-involved shooting if they had cancelled the season and players were out protesting this whole time.
Racism and police brutality are so well ingrained in the US that it was always going to be long-term proposition, even with the momentum toward change that was created by the George Floyd killing.
I said before I wouldn’t have a problem with them cancelling the season and still wouldn’t. But I don’t think the NBA players need to be second-guessing themselves right now either.

And I can’t fault any man for wanting to get paid to feed his family! Despite being in the Top 1% like I mentioned, CJ said a lot of players live paycheck to paycheck so it was probably a big deal for some. Not to mention, it could have affected negotiations for the next CBA. It’s entertainment for us but it’s their livelihood.
At least with playing they came up with tangible ideas of things to do that they felt might be effective. Nothing happened. So if they are going to look at the alternative of not playing then I would hope they have ideas of what they can do to be effective.

Depends on which formula you use for overall.
Everyone has a different formula, which is why it is generally hard to come to a consensus.
You could definitely come up with a formula that favors Luka's style of play
Just as quickly as
I could come up with a formula that favors a player like GIannis.
At this moment, Giannis has been more dominant for a longer period of time than Luka.

I would take his mindset over Giannis. Also, while being extremely aggressive, he stays under control, and is able to see things ahead of when they actually happen. He is more resourceful than Giannis. I feel like Giannis is always trying to run through a wall, and that shows in times he has struggled in big playoff series.

My MAIN argument as to why I am selecting GIannis at this very moment to be higher on the Power Rankings than Luka is because he has been doing it at a Higher Level for a longer period of time.
But to go deeper in the skills department, I would prefer my Superstar is able to dominate on both ends of the court. Luka isn't able to do that at the level Giannis is able to do so. It isn't close.
But again, that is MY preference for my star player.
You might not value the star being a 2-way force as much as I value it, so you might prefer Luka.

Generally speaking, less athletic players appear to be more under-control when compared to superior athletes.
His lack of run/jump ability gives him no choice but to play with "Pace."
