Those people are out of work by circumstance, not choice which is completely different. As CJ McCollum touchEd on during the hiatus, many players live paycheck-to-paycheck. Regardless of what you think of their profession, bouncing that ball is what keeps the lights on mortgage current for these dudes. Can’t sleep on any person voluntarily foregoing income for a cause they believe in but no matter the profession it is a significant sacrifice.
