In all seriousness though they fumbled this from the jump. No hazard pay on the horizon. Even if they did cut another stimulus 2400 in 6 months is a laugher. Many countries did 2k a month thru this ordeal. We took 600000000000 and give it to rich people...

-Bruh, so because the Dems wanted to get MORE help for people above the unemployment benefits, they are equivalent to Trump and the rest of the GOP.

Your complaint is basically they just didn't do as Trump wanted. They were willing to compromise, Trump wasn't. The Dems wanted a lil over 3 Trillion, Trump wanted a lil over 1 trillion. The Dems said meet in the middle, 2 trillion was them trying to meet in the middle, not their starting point. Trump is the one that killed the negotiations saying it his way or no deal.

-The aid for all states is not just for Cali and New York. That is just another stupid as right wing talking point. It is to help every state with the budget shortfalls because of coronavirus. Tons of red states need the money. If states don't get the money, to balance the budgets they will engage in austerity, which means cuts to social services and layoffs of public workers. Tons of the regular "working men" work for states and cities. Tons of regular people rely on state and local services. Most states are experiencing these budget shortfalls, because of declining tax revenues and Covid spending, red and blue, and they are already looking to make cuts.

Trying to help states is not just playing politics, it is trying to push forward good economic policy. Red States need, and will get, a ton of help too. Trump's issue is that he doesn't want blue areas to get any help, so state and local aid is off the table for everyone.

Furthermore, I can tell you are soaking up the GOP's talking points on NY and Cali. First their budget shortfalls are in the tens of billions (big states are seeing shortfalls in the billions), a quarter billion won't do ****. Like if they wanted get that much, quarter of a billion dollars is unreasonable? That is 250 million would be like what .019% of Trump proposal and .011% of the Dems. Check ya numbers, b.

Even worse, you complain about the stipends to regular folk not being enough, when the only support for that was among progressives in the Democratic Party. And the people that pushed for money for business is the GOP, and the the Trump administration is the one that gave out the money to big business and refused to like House Dems have oversight over where the money went.

You rather make lazy *** both sides takes, backed up by some right wing talking points, to act like it is the Dems screwing people over. While agreeing with the policies the Dems support. You're all over the damn place.

So spare me.
