I’ve vaguely heard $40,000 is when it will start getting phased out. Not sure which side is proposing that. Now we’re hearing late March at the earliest.

Im in the 50,000 range, give or take a few k. But also, i live in a paid off property so it "feels" like im making $75k not worrying about rent/mortgage.
Plus im single with no kids so it feels like im making six figs.
As far as health/life goes, theres so many variables its hard to say. A person thats staying at home.. but lives in an apartment with a dozen tenants is probably carrying a similar risk level as me, working and dealing with the public but living by myself in a house dont you think?

In alot of essential industries like retail, factories etc you arent literally working non stop...every hour you'll catch a 5-10 minute break while ur manager/teamleader does paperwork or is brainstorming a game plan. Some days ull get lucky and be standing around 2-3 hrs waiting for a freight truck to arrive.
And its all relative to your culture...ive met immigrants from Guatemala, Mexico, Venezuela who were doing backbreaking work for only 10 bucks a day. Hell, we're on NIKETALK of all places, dont you realize the sneakers we wear our made in sweatshops by 12 year olds working 50-60 hours a week???

Like what Rusty said in here or the political thread, the Dems shouldn't consider the limits and just pay the people. You're trying to stimulate the economy and improve people current situation, but putting brand new limits that can hinder more people?
Just give the $1600 and then when the next round of checks are being planned for (I think we'll get 1-2 more), then make the necessary adjustments.

Looking at last years numbers do not even correlate to this years’ for a large amount of Americans. Just pay everyone as they did before minus the OG cap. I know people who literally lost everything but were making above 100K last year

Yeah, best option is to simply let it flow....or make no adjustments and keep the money flowing
GOP and some Dems will cry about the deficit, but heck. It's an added debt that is working towards helping the people in the country and the economy. I feel the GOP use this argument point as a way to just not agree with the Dems. It's terrible.

I work a lot in the summer so I can take 4months off a year.
id rather work my 2000 hours a year with 1/3 of it in ot vs 2000 and no ot. To each their own.
