Bruh theres more opportunities to work out here than since the 1960s manufacturing boom, people shouldnt be looking for handouts. It was always annoyed me people in non essential industries complaining they got laid off not realizing they could jump into an essential industry and work 50-60 hours a week.

So my work had a weird coincidence happen about 2 months ago. We have about 15 employees, and we lost 5 of them within a 3 week window. 1 guy got fired for messing up some important paperwork stuff, one guy got rear ended while he was driving a company car but he tested positive for weed so he got fired, one guy moved to the east coast, 2 guys got new jobs.
This is a super stable district. We’ve never been short people before like this. Ever. Completely unprecedented. So we’re hiring like CRAZY. Not the usual “hey do you know a guy” but for the first time we’re willing to hire outsiders with no connections.
The flood gates should have been wide open during this pandemic. This is historic unemployement times we’re in right? Wrong. It’s taken us damn near 2 months to get back fully staffed. People would show up for 1 interview, then go ghost. You would think we were handing out the plague and NOT a full time salaried position with full benefits and 3 weeks paid vacation and starting salary of 55k plus annually. Folks REALLY living that good off unemployment and the occasional Stim Burton??

I don't get why you wouldn't just take the 1K.
And it doesn't matter how many employees you put down. Pretty sure for self employed without payroll or other employees it's just net profit divided by 12, then multiplied by 2.5
