Saban out here talking about the need for some national oversight on NIL to keep it from destroying the balance of power in college football.

think it was mike golic jr on Twitter, saban talking about them other dudes cause he goin be straight.. going have kids right in them Aflac commercials with him

but think he said something similar about RPOs.. and then he weaponized them and we see how that played out

Just making sure them other dudes realize what’s coming

Exactly. Nick Saban isn't doing this because he needs help, he's doing it because he's about to abuse it and make everyone else's life hell.

- Saban went on a rant about how he hated hurry up, no huddle offenses and how they were bad for college football. He literally tried to make running hurry up offenses illegal. Then he implemented those concepts and now they are a huge part of his team's success.

- he railed against the transfer portal and was prophetic when he said that this would just lead to more imbalance because the rich would just continue to get richer and now he's hand picking the best players from the transfer portal.

Say what you want about Nick Saban but even at 70 years old, he is better at adapting and implementing new concepts than coaches half his age. If he is saying these things about NIL, it's a warning to other programs about how Alabama will take advantage of it.

I was thinking about how it feels like forever between the CFP semifinal games and the title game and this is only 10 days. Ohio State waited 51 days before playing in the BCS title game.

They played Michigan on November 18th then played Florida in the national title game on January 8th. Of course this was before the Big 10 title game and CFP semifinal.

N41D N41D tmay407 tmay407 why are OU fans obsessed with old *** Jerry Schmidt? Was OU known previously under Riley for ****ty S&C and undersized players?
Schmidt is awesome.

I think it’s less about Riley’s staff and just more about Schmidt is probably the best in the business - and was there forever before Jimbo took him.

If you're confident, you should bet the house on it. Georgia's still a slight favorite in most sports books
I see they’re dogs. Thinking of a couple hundred but I know this could be a toss up
Just hard to bet against Saban.

Bama’s winning tonight. I don’t know how to bet the game in NYC or I’d give it serious thought.

dacomeup dacomeup wanna throw down some money for me?

You went from "Bama easy tonight" to "t think of a good game his could be a toss up" expeditiously 🤣🤣🤣

Seriously though, I do expect it to be a good game. Not surprised to Georgia is the slight favorite.

I wonder what Vegas sees to make Bama an underdog. I know it’s hard to beat the same team twice but damn
