Doesn’t Heitner work for the American Top Team guy who’s a Miami booster?

EDIT

I thought so:

But what Miami “collective” is he referring to? Ruiz runs a public company. Maybe the Mas brothers or other boosters are pooling money that way

Why's it feel like from the outside looking in, Ruiz IS THE MIAMI COLLECTIVE?
Because he’s always talking . He’s a billionaire CEO of a newly public company though. The collectives are basically sham companies to pay these kids. This guy has a legitimate business and is having them sign actual contracts with obligations etc.

Miami has multiple other big boosters involved though. The Mas brothers are billionaires and there’s some other big money boosters.

:rofl:come on he basing most of this off 7v7 and Elite 11. Every recruiting site have him number 1 for a reason. He is playing it like prospects in the draft by not doing camps when he is already the Number 1 overall. Sooners have a lot to be salty about have you seen the recruits they are going after. Most of them aren't on Aggies or Longhorn boards. They are now battling it out with Baylor, Missouri and Tulsa for recruits.

We’ve never seen any other #1 prospect this big and also this hidden from competing with the rest of his class. Comparing it to NFL prospects is silly because we’ve seen them for years at that time. All we have is Arch beating up on tiny kids as our reference here.

What's the reason they all have him #1?

The OU thread was just an excuse for pro OU recruiting propaganda at a time when their fans are kinda down on Venables's results thus far, but they make some good points. They compared Arch to Malachi, Rashada and, for propaganda reasons, Jackson Arnold. But let's toss Nico, the other 5 star QB in there. (order of ranking is OU board's) :

Passing Attempts- Completed-Percentage

1) J.Arnold: 445 - 296 - 67%
2) A.Manning: 228 - 148 - 65%
3) M. Nelson: 275 - 170 - 62%
4) J.Rashada: 256 - 146 - 57%
5) N. Iamaleava: 272 - 162 - 60%

Passing TD’s- Rushing TD’s- Interceptions

1) J.Arnold: 34 - 12 - 5
2) A.Manning: 26 - 7 - 4
3) J.Rashada: 27 - 1 - 5
4) M.Nelson: 39 - 2 - 9
5) N. Iamaleava: 33 - 3 - 1

Yards Passing - Yards Rushing -Total Yards

1) J. Arnold: 3,921 - 659 - 4,580
2) M. Nelson: 2,690 - 192 - 2,882
3) J. Rashada: 2,220 - 193 - 2,413
4) A.Manning: 1,947 - 381 - 2,328
5) N. Iamaleava: 2244 - 158 - 2,402

You can't really control for the level of comp all 5 faced, but only Arch was playing literal (barely) JV teams.

In May, the NCAA Division I Council approved the deregulation of the current rule that had limited an individual conference's autonomy to determine their football championship game participants.

The three primary partners for each ACC team are as follows:

Boston College: Miami, Pitt, Syracuse
Clemson: Florida State, Georgia Tech, NC State
Duke: North Carolina, NC State, Wake Forest
Florida State: Clemson, Miami, Syracuse
Georgia Tech: Clemson, Louisville, Wake Forest
Louisville: Georgia Tech, Miami, Virginia
Miami: Boston College, Florida State, Louisville
North Carolina: Duke, NC State, Virginia
NC State: Clemson, Duke, North Carolina
Pitt: Boston College, Syracuse, Virginia Tech
Syracuse: Boston College, Florida State, Pitt
Virginia: Louisville, North Carolina, Virginia Tech
Virginia Tech: Pitt, Virginia, Wake Forest
Wake Forest: Duke, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech

FSU and GT not being grouped together makes no sense at all (logistically), but it does seem like schedule wise they'll be playing every other year so I guess in the end it doesn't really matter

Yeah, I agree.

Considering GT has to play Clemson and UGA every year, and that's 2 L's already, you'd think the conference would have the good sense to schedule them a win wherever they can.

This conference is never going to get back to that upper-echelon level if they don't start scheduling smarter

Feels like one of the Texas schools at this point, yeah?

Would assume Texas because they've got some momentum moving right now.
That’s what it seems like. Curious to see if Miami can get him back on campus before then. UF doesn’t have a real shot here IMO

Texas allegedly has a bunch of "big" silents. So we'll see.
Let's see what happens when they win 7 again.

They're going to get Johntay Cook off the Arch momentum. I would guess they lead for Baxter even though A&M quietly feels good about it.

Def interested in seeing if Miami can get him back on campus before August 10. Seems like the recruiting fireworks are about to jump for Miami post-Rashada starting with Ray Ray Joseph tonight. We’ll see if that helps.
