What in the world is going on in Ann Arbor. Not looking good at the moment

It's especially troubling because Michigan just had their most successful season in almost 20 years. I'd imagine Harbaugh flirting with the NFL and the coaching turnover has something to do with it

I should argue though, that Michigan has a top 10 class right now, so they're recruiting as well as they typically do.
TAMU’s getting pantsed right now too. Let the money play out and see where we sit 5-6 months from now at ESD.

Raylen committing was a huge surprise to start and very few people thought he would stick... The recruiting should be better but Harbaugh being silent and making that NFL push is only a few months removed... Believe that it is a major recruiting pitch against the team... NIL is probably an issue since Michigan seems to be using it as an afterthought for recruits... Michigan has been slow to start on the trail the past few years and seems to finish okay... Need a big class since they lose a lot after this season.

Looking at the 247 composite, it looks like the Gators are going to end up with two out of the top 25 players in the state of Florida this season

Word on the street is that Georgia processed him and didn't want him. 🤣

In all seriousness though, I don't have much intel on the kid. He's super talented and I think he has potential to start pretty early on at Ohio State.

I just wish we could sign some talented LBs :{ I’ve never seen the program so weak at that position for this long

"With Arch Manning, nobody is going to be able to fool with me and him. Freshman year I'll have Quinn Ewers, so I'm arguably going to have the best two quarterbacks in college football," Cook told 247Sports.

I feel like the Mannings didn't think this through. What happens if Arch struggles at any point? Can you imagine the feeding frenzy?

It feels like the media keep praising them for running an "old school" 90's recruitment. "He posted his first tweet ever and it was his commitment tweet!" But it's 2022. And, social media doesn't need you to participate in it to absolutely destroy you.

Meh, he’s going to get destroyed regardless. First shaky game he has or whatever. I’m sure he’s used to a lot of the hate he’ll get just for being a Manning from growing up with the name. It’s impossible for a guy to have 3 years of CFB and have NO struggles.

He’d be getting fried if he was anyone else, but I don’t really see what he stands to gain from going to these camps. I’m sure the stuff he’s doing is by himself is A1, and not a lot of the garbage you see on IG or TikTok either.

And while yes the level of comp is a concern if you want him to play right away, I’ve seen plenty of kids from the Midwest be instant contributors who had tape that looked very similar to what Arch is going up against.

He’s gonna get to start out fall camp against similar competition with that Texas defense, too.

It’s all jokes justincredible7 justincredible7

Arch Manning seems like a pretty down-to-earth kid and doesn't want the drama. I don't feel as though he's shying away from competition, I think he's just a regular high school kid who wants to go out there and play for his high school team and hang with his friends. Like you guys mentioned, he doesn't have much to gain from doing the camp circuit. The media circus around him doesn't really represent the type of person he is. For as big as the media circus around him is, it would be a hundred times worse if he were constantly giving interviews and posting a social media. In fact, your hard pressed to find an Arch Manning interview and he rarely posts on social media.
