I do agree that NBA media members spend far too much time complaining about the current state of the game. You never see NFL broadcast teams complaining about the current state of the league and talking down to young players the way NBA media members do, it's weird.
I look back to that situation between Shaq and Donovan Mitchell a couple of months ago. You would never see Chris Collinsworth and Troy aikman disparaging a young QB like Dak Prescott to his face during interview. It's bizarre that the NBA allows their media members to disparage the sport that they should be promoting.
The NFL has changed a lot over the last decade as far as style of play and rules but you don't see broadcast teams complaining about it all the time during a broadcast. The NFL "protects the shield" A lot better than the NBA.
