I don't know the experience of every ballpark but going to games are fun without even caring about the game

I go to most Mariners games to drink, socialize and chill in the lounge like areas
Just came back from Seattle this past weekend :pimp:. Didn't get a chance to go to a game but tix were only like 60 each for the lower level. Cool city tho

Mans was watching the movie hoping the dog would chew them kids up

Only person in the class wishing Benny took a tumble while the Beast was giving chase

And he wouldn't be wrong for feeling that way. Only thing is that I wish da homeowner would've let da yappa sing on Benny because he looked to live in a stand your ground jurisdiction and he'd be right in doing so. That lifeguard was also a Pedo so I'm sure she was Delk's favorite character.

Yeah baseball games are a cool kick it event with some friends. I rarely pay attention

If I nail this interview tomorrow I might be moving your way man, either in Seattle or Redmond
Good luck ! Somebody hit me up bout a job in Seattle on Monday :nerd: …Never been there tho and heard terrible things bout the cost of living so idk :lol :{

You got this, bruh. 😎💪

Appreciate it yall!!! Nerves been killing me.

I was looking at places out there and cost isn't the best but I also live in the Bay Area so anything is an upgrade price wise from here

Understandable. Prepare as best you can. 'S all you can do. 🤙 You still have plenty of time to to prepare more if you feel the need, mentally go over whatever questions or strategies you think will come up. But once it's go time, just know that you've prepared and now it's time to execute. Hit the open man, rebound, KNOW YOUR ASSIGNMENT!

Wait... nvm. 👀🤦‍♂️

Man everywhere cheaper than the Bay. 😆😳 Asking $1200 a month for a broom closet. 😬

There was a lot happening in this one. Fun game. The highlight is the obvious volatility with jumpers.

Milwaukee came out in their drop scheme with Lopez/Portis only, so Bud is allowing that midrange jumper. Phoenix has a very balanced lineup so you have to concede something, and that’s what Bud chose. That very last clip at the 7min mark in the game you see Lopez doesn’t drop all the way to the restricted area and pays the price:

Bud is also switching with everyone except Lopez/Portis so Bud is allowing Ayton to draw a smaller guy whenever Phoenix wants. That 3rd clip you see Giannis a little casual on the switch with his hand down so Booker has airspace to pull.

We even saw some rare Ayton mid post/elbow touches  That 2nd clip he usually resets but he was feeling good:

Phoenix hits enough jumpers to drop 28 in the first frame. So far, similar script to the first 2 games. They get open jumpers & occasionally find Ayton at the rim, they convert.

2nd quarter the execution was inconsistent. 12 turnovers in all of G2 and they had 5 alone in the 2nd quarter. Most of that being unforced errors, which is frustrating if you’re a coach because there’s no Xs & Os adjustment to make here  “Play smarter” is the adjustment

You see stuff like Payne & CP on the court but Bridges is the one running PnR at the top & dribbling in traffic  then later he just steps out of bounds after CP decides he doesn’t want the Lopez switch. CP also with some errant passes, Kaminsky can’t finish over Khris  That very last clip Giannis is in a very deep drop, Chris doesn’t take the 3, he sees Khris switched onto Ayton & turns that down too, the ball ends up with T Craig who travels. Just sloppy stuff.

CP takes his first rest & they trade in the turnovers for bricks. A mix of everything here:

Cam Payne gets to his left hand finger roll & cant finish
Book settles for a tough fade after Milwaukee sniffs out a pseudo spain PnR. Great defense to blow up the initial action & Book can’t improvise
A blown 2 on 1 break followed by an open 3 miss after the o-board
Book doesn’t rescreen Jrue & gets blocked
Cam Johnson with another open miss out of Spain PnR
Last clip Khris sinks deep to help on Ayton rolling & Bridges can’t make him pay.

17 points, worst quarter in the series. A mix of poor execution & open misses - shots that were falling for them at home. Not a surprise this happened on the road, hence the phrase we’ve heard a million times - A series doesn’t start until the home team loses.

Suns come out after halftime & the execution is still uneven. You see the continued assault on the midrange in the first 2 clips, last 2 clips you see Ayton not properly tagging Tuck on the screen leading to Book improvising & extending his arm on the drive and then you see yet another bad unforced CP pass that directly leads to Ayton’s 4th foul.

Ayton to the bench, they go small and actually get into rhythm offensively, aided by some lazy transition defense from Milwaukee. In the halfcourt Phoenix is sticking to the same script but with more space because of the extra shooter on the floor.

Crowder is picking and popping instead of rolling so Lopez can’t drop anymore, he has to switch. They give up that first 3 & Lopez is benched at the next dead ball. Now Milwaukee is back to switching everything, so Phoenix finds their guy on the switch & attacks, usually Pat Connaughton. Tucker picks up his 4th foul around 5 min mark, Portis comes in & that’s another guy who can’t switch.

31 points in the quarter on 12/19 shooting. They lose the quarter anyway  I’ll get to that a little further down.

But People are saying Saric is a big loss and I’m just not seeing it.

With Ayton on the floor they still can’t defend Milwaukee & still give up o-boards (Allowed 6 in the 1st half, 7 in the 2nd half, 18 at home in G2) Saric stays in drop also. He isn’t faring much different in those areas than Ayton or Frank, and offensively they can still generate quality looks with Ayton benched.

So Ayton in foul trouble or not, doesn’t really matter on either end.

One thing you don’t see too much of in those clips is Devin Booker. He didn’t get any 4th quarter mins and the only thing I saw was him deliberately breaking the offense twice in the 3rd. Posting up right in the middle of CP working when he doesn’t have a mismatch & CP does, and then a heat check 3 when he wasn’t hot at all.

Benching him for the fourth is a bit excessive but Phoenix needs everyone to stay in their role & stick to the script offensively, that includes the stars. They love to mention him with Kobe all the time, he’s another guy who used to break the offense and freestyle, but Book isn’t as talented & clearly doesn’t have as much freedom.

Phoenix was also down 20+ entering the 4th and would’ve needed more than a quarter to make that up. Monty emptied the bench at the 5 min mark

So the overarching story of the game for Phoenix is that sloppy 2nd quarter as well as Milwaukee dropping 73 points over the middle two quarters.

At first thought you might wanna put that 3rd quarter defense on Ayton’s foul trouble but Milwaukee had 35 in the 2nd & a 118 offensive rating in G2 along with 18 offensive boards. Ayton just doesn’t matter defensively. Saric doesn’t either. Like any other drop big in the league, they can be exploited.

So the concerning thing if you’re Monty is the defense. They can clean up the unforced errors and will still be in the game in the 4th quarter but Milwaukee is getting a clean look every time down. No real solutions jump out on the film.

People were trapped in their homes with nothing to do last finals an still didn’t want to watch the finals. Yeesh

Eh NBA fudging the numbers. Most bars, restaurants and etc weren't even open during the finals last year so they factoring in those numbers to say hey more ppl watching but not really in the sense they want to make it. Sports across the board were at pretty much decade lows for viewership except the WNBA.

Offensively the Bucks actually made the right adjustments going back to G2.

Ayton is a drop big, Giannis is the best roll man in the league, so get Middleton out of iso and let him handle the ball in the PnR. He can walk into his midrange, he can spray the ball out to shooters if Phoenix sends help on Giannis rolling. Much easier & cleaner looks than going iso against Bridges. Jrue can run it as well. Everybody gets cleaner looks.

Giannis’ knee felt better in G2 and he was able to play his regular playoff minutes again. Bud has mostly scrapped those 30 foot isos and has him either rolling in the PnR or posting up at 10-15 feet, and he’s going quickly. It’s impossible to double him in a lot of these scenarios.

Just great coaching, everything they did in G7 to close out Brooklyn. Bud has turned in a great playoff run.

Bucks finished with a 118 offensive rating in G2, which is elite  This is with Giannis & Pat Connaughton being the only guys making shots in that game.

So you get back home, Giannis is still unguardable playing like a center instead of a wing & the hope is that Khris & Jrue make more of these open looks out of PnR on their home floor, which is exactly what happened.

In G3, they stuck to the script, Phoenix’ offensive execution wasn’t as sharp on the road and Milwaukee started flipping the game in the 2nd quarter. You saw a bit of everything.

- Hit ahead in transition to lock in the cross match
- Jrue continued aggression against smaller guards, beating cam Payne twice
- Ayton guarding nobody in drop
- Giannis starting his offense at 15 feet, putting crowder in the rim, perhaps you double quicker in situations like these but obviously you’re then exposed to 3s
- A steady dose of Khris/Jrue PnR

Just exceptional execution in the halfcourt, continued from G2. PHX sloppy play led to some run outs & easy layups on the break and the Bucks end up with 35 in the quarter.

You see the Bucks have changed up so simply sending more help at Giannis doesn’t actually solve much here. For you Dario Saric folks you also see Ayton on the floor for most of this

3rd quarter, Phoenix got it going again offensively but on the other end they continue to get killed by PnR

You see below, even when Giannis starts out from 30 feet, he’s doing a better job making sure he has a mismatch first. Crowder sits right on the free throw line so Giannis has the kick out to Middleton if he wants it.

You already saw that terrible pass from CP leading to Ayton’s 4th foul that so then the Suns go small & switch to a 2-1-2 zone, which is susceptible to corner 3s and has a soft spot in the dunker like all zones.

Milwaukee continues to get to their spots with PnR & timely cuts & just like they did to the man defense with Ayton out there.

You see around the 6:30 mark in the quarter, Jrue hitting all the open jumpers he missed in Phoenix
At 2:50 mark you see Giannis gets loose.
He gets a cross-match in transition twice
Rolls to the rim & ducks in for the post up like Ayton has been doing
Hunts Cam Payne on the switch & waits for the help since he’s a little winded

Just much smarter basketball than those isos at 30 feet out against the defense’s primary defender we used to get from Giannis & Khris.

Milwaukee forcing Phoenix to answer the exact same questions that Milwaukee has to answer defensively

You switch that Khris-Giannis PnR, Khris can blowby Ayton or Giannis can victimize crowder/Bridges.

You put Ayton/Crowder in drop, Khris walks into open jumpers.

You trap Khris and it’s a dump off to Giannis.

You zone and they have shooters 1-4 and know how to properly cut.

In between all of that, Milwaukee is pushing the pace to get cross matches in transition & Giannis is making quick moves when he gets it 15 feet out.

So both teams are between a rock & a hard place defensively. Add all of this up & we have the shootout that it looked like we were going to have after G1.

Both teams have drop bigs & 1 or 2 weak perimeter defenders out there at all times so they have to concede SOMETHING defensively.

No series or in-game lead is safe in this one. Even if Phoenix goes up 3-1 tonight you can’t dig Milwaukee’s grave.

Seattle in the Summer :pimp: (unless its 110 degrees and you have no AC)
What’s up with the no AC thing? That surprised me…I know it ain’t humid out there but it don’t gotta be over a 100 to use the AC :lol …I’m guessing that’s only the older buildings
