Last thing, I really only watch basketball these days. And even I tuned into the homerun derby as well as the ASG just to see Shohei.

It doesn't matter to me that he's not speaking english. Dude is NICE and I wanted to see a show.

He got eliminated in the 1st freaking round and I still kept watching (mainly because I'm a Mets fan and was also checking for Alonso).

So his ability to speak english had zero bearing on my choice to tune in.

Hearing "learn to speak english" almost comes off as "well go back to *insert foreign country here* if you don't like it here in the US!".

What's next? Don't speak english with the accent of the country you're originally from?

It's not baseball that sucks. It's the MLB iteration of it. Pace is trash. Games taking 3-4 hours is stupid. League shrugs off cheating. No more small ball, everything is either a home run or strikeout. Pitcher hitting in one league and not in the other. They need to clean it up.

Yeah I didnt realize we were the least air conditioned spot in the country before this year.

But when we even hit the high 80s and 90s its overall sparingly. Our summers on average are going to be mid 70s throughout so some basic fans usually do the trick for most ppl. Especially if you live in an apartment

I gave my window A/C to a family member and had to find a portable one for my girl and myself. Bruh Offerup was looking StockXish trying to grab one

Yeah, basically everyone I’ve talked to about has said actually going to game is a whole different experience that will win you over to hockey. I haven’t done it yet. I may still give going to a game a shot.

Can’t do it via TV though. I tried repeatedly during the years in the early 2010s when the Kings were in Stanley Cup contention and always gave up after no more than 10 minutes.
