The thing is when playing against an offensive force like the nets you cant have any bad defenders. Teams will be forced to use offensive liabilities who can defend to try to stop the bleeding. Thybulle will get a lot of burn should they play each other but it would make their offense so much worse. The bucks play 4vs 5 on offense since PJ is being ignored.

The best defense in the world isn’t holding this nets team under 120.

Question will be can you slow them down enough without handicapping your own offense.

Philly wouldn’t need to start Thigh Bull vs the Nets. Especially if Officer Jim remains out. We gonna let Tobias get cooked by Durant all game and focus on Harden/Myrie

Seeing his main costar go 13-43 over the first 2 games while watching the team across from them, any chance Giannis is feeling buyers remorse already for signing off his prime to the Bucks?

Man can't afford an off night against the best, which for him would be scoring under 25 :lol

He set his entire family for generations for sure but he would've still gotten generational wealth from all the teams that would've been after him.

Dudes mortgaged their future for Jrue too so not like they'll be able to do much in the near future in terms of improving the roster enough to move the needle.

This was supposed to be their best squad yet they're still not appearing to be on the same level as the best in the East...

Middleton is fine.

This is all on Gannis.

He's low key getting roasted on defense.
and he can't generate consistent offense for himself or his teammates.

What do you want Kris Middleton to do?

Um let’s wait and see if the 76ers even get to the next round first.
Everything is hypotheticals at this point lol EYE still see us being ATL. A lot broke right that game for that game and I can’t really see that happening multiple times again

if gannis had a hook shot, or something that required the nets to really tilt the defense towards him.

Kris Middleton would look a lot better.

yes Coach Bud isn't great,
yes Middleton is not the ideal second star

but fundamentally the questions is:
can you win a championship with Gannis as your primary offensive weapon?

the evidence is in; the answer is no.

I expect you guys to win it too - but the Hawks matchup very well with 76ers. I wouldn’t bet on it, because it wouldn’t surprise me if the Hawks win this series.

As for Brooklyn, if you guys make it there - I don’t want talk it about yet. I don’t want to ruin your mood.

The real question is, Tobias Harris or Middleton

(yes the real answer is neither but that ain’t the point)

That ain’t no problem me. Nets still scare me obviously but Philly was the “best” defense for a reason. Gotta see it play out

Yes, and people are trashing him too despite him being fantastic in game 1. Dude is really a center. He can be great and still need his co stars to play decently to win. He’s not going to be Kevin Durant nor should that be the expectation.
