Brogdon lolFeel like we sometimes spend too much time wrapped up in what teams pay guys.
The Bucks paid Middleton what they had to pay him to keep him there.
What was the alternative?
Right. It means the game tightens up in the playoffs, and you're not getting the same looks you got all year. It's pretty normal.
Bingo. They had already gotten cheap with Brogdon and let him go. Couldn't do the same with Middleton AND expect Yanni to re-sign.Feel like we sometimes spend too much time wrapped up in what teams pay guys.

I don’t think that’s fundamentally the question at all. This is a classic example of over reductive.
What is even a “primary offensive weapon” in 2020? Most great teams have multiple. Was Shaq or Kobe the primary offensive weapon? Does it matter (No.) Was Steph or KD the primary offensive weapon? (It doesn’t matter even though some stupid people still argue about it). Was Tim Duncan, Manu, Tony Parker or Kawhi the primary offensive weapon? At different times they all were... Who is the Nets primary offensive weapon this year?
In terms of the actual game, it’s clear that Giannis shouldn’t be the primary ball handler. As far as the “primary offensive weapon” the reason he isn’t is because they need at least one additional primary offensive weapon to win a championship. Can he be one of them? If the talents are complementary, absolutely.
The often-injured lesser player that they eventually replaced with Jrue Holiday? Eh.Brogdon lol
Ehhh they could’ve kept both. They just chose to overpay and keep Eric BledsoeBingo. They had already gotten cheap with Brogdon and let him go. Couldn't do the same with Middleton AND expect Yanni to re-sign.
That wasn't my point. I know they could have.Ehhh they could’ve kept both. They just chose to overpay and keep Eric Bledsoe
If being in the HOF means his career is over, then cool.Giannis gotta come back with a vengeance or his career is over, because KD Harden and Kyrie planning on running the East for at least the next 3yrs
No, the replaced the empty player that Bledsoe was with Jrue. They could’ve kept those 3 three together but chose wrong with BledsoeThe often-injured lesser player that they eventually replaced with Jrue Holiday? Eh.
And I love Brogdon as a player.
I don't think anybody actually expects him to be like those guys. He is absolutely better than a "slightly above average player" though. He'd slot in very nicely as a 3rd option on the majority of good teams in the league. You're not wrong by saying this, but what I was trying to get at was people expect Middleton to have the same impact as someone like Wade or Booker does on the Suns. Playoff basketball-- he's a slightly above average player. He has no business being a secondary scoring option.
he need to go to the warriors some howGiannis career over at like 26 and being all nba. G’damn…….
Charles Barkley: "That bubble basketball, it was a bunch of bubble gangsters. That dont count. Bubble gangsters dont count."
The Lakers and Lefrauds are bubble gangsters. 2020 NBA Championship doesnt count. No lies told here.
I don't disagree but man put the ******* phone down.Jay Williams is a Bozo. Can't stand him.
Titles mean more to them than the HOFIf being in the HOF means his career is over, then cool.
Where’s your team? Oh wait
The guy with the most FGA on your team through 2 games shooting 30% as opposed to his regular season 48% is absolutely a big problem.Middleton isn’t that much of a problem the nets just look way better than the bucks.
league figured him out. just build a team like the nets and he'll be exposedGiannis career over at like 26 and being all nba. G’damn…….
