I don’t think he’s going to suddenly add anything to his game at this point of the season. He’s a 2 time mvp winner just by basically putting his head down and getting to the rim at will

Either he adds more moves to his arsenal, adds A SINGLE go to move, adds a jumper, gets a better coach who can utilize him better or he needs a teammate that will take priority over Giannis when opposing teams gameplan defenses. Like if Giannis is with Steph or Luka he’s winning multiple championships.

It's not reductive. The answer to all those questions is very obvious.

Shaq was the primary offensive weapon.
his gravity as a post up threat and his ability to pass out of it in the triangle is what put the defense in conflict.

Steph was the primary offensive weapon in GSW,
it's his shooting gravity and off-ball movement that compromised defenses.

The Spurs are an outlier, as it was their the spread pick and roll attack with Manu or Tony initiating.
unless you get like 8 super high IQ basketball players, you aren't replicating that.


Jrue and Kris are perfectly fine ball handlers if Gannis could compromise the defense.

If you had to double gannis in the post or at the elbow or anywhere that wasn't 2.8 inches away from the rim, the bucks would be able to score against the nets.
but he can't so they are doomed.

I understand this is subjective so your opinion is valid, but to me this is more of a criticism of offense and roster construction than it is of Giannis individually. I agree that you aren’t going to win a championship with Giannis as the sole offensive fulcrum but that’s also not a very realistic expectation nor, IMO does it take away from his greatness as a player.

You don't know WHAT means more to Giannis between The HOF and a Title.

We don't know if everyone plays to win a championship. That's what "we" think their motivation should be.
