Australia, Poland, Japan, Morocco... just hope and pray Korea can add their names to the "upset" list of the knockout stage. Seems like more groups have surprises than not, this year.
I can see Portugal resting folks and Korea winning, then Uruguay beating Ghana..

Still
Draw lines? Theres probably some still that shows the least possible amount of ball still on the line, if you frame it and draw it perfectly

Germany should have done better.

Lookin at how the brackets shaping up you could make an argument either way for any of these matchups in the first round except France Poland and Netherlands USA depending on how high you are on the Netherlands.

I can see why Lukaku feels the way he does, I mean all of these ‘past their time/old legs/etc.’ talk on Belgium would have still been true—but wouldn’t have mattered one bit—if he hits any of those through. Any of them. But the result cements that as their narrative even if he could’ve forestalled it easily.

Literal millimeters

Today was insane

Alexi brought up a valid point for once in that the ref had a flag up, so the goal should have been waived off anyway. VAR should have been determining if the ball was inbounds. If they say it’s inconclusive, then the goal doesn’t count.
