Respect your opinion, great discussion.

There are 33 starters on every football team. So defense has never won a championship? Special teams has never won a championship?
Texas put up 600+ yards on a pretty good defense yesterday

Milroe can go off for 400 yards of total offense

Penix Jr can get hot and put up huge numbers

Gonna be hard to beat those teams with just special teams and defense

I feel for FSU, & 100% understand FSU fan's POV, but y'all put up 55 passing yards last night.
Safe to say Tom Brady ain't walking through that door.
They were comparing themselves to Ohio State in 2014 like we didn't watch that offense look anemic against the #14 team

OSU's 3rd stringer Cardale Jones smoked #13 Wisconsin in the B1G title game 59-0 while FSU's 3rd stringer did this

With Louisville still in the game until very late in the 4th quarter.

They should've still made it off their resume but they definitely weren't another 2014 OSU where their talent level was overwhelming and undeniable regardless of who was at QB.

The committee already outlined that availability plays a factor in their decsision making, as fair or unfair as that is.

Those dropped passes last night didn’t help their chances at getting in either

Didn’t look ready for the biggest stage

So why didn't FSU drop the week before based off this?

Bama wasn't in the picture until yesterday. Them handling the no.1 team the way they did brought all that extra **** into play to the detriment of FSU
Based off their logic FSU should have been jumped by anyone (Oregon, Texas) since they weren't the "same" team anymore and both those teams at the time were heavy favorites especially Oregon.

It also makes even less sense having them ranked above Georgia still if that's the case

People want to see offense so if your offense struggled this weekend you got left out

FSU scored 16 points 🤷🏾‍♂️

Agreed. Both Texas & Bama looked really good yesterday against superior opponents, while FSU legitimately looked terrible. You have to take all of that into account imo.

We know they're spitballing as they go essentially now but yea FSU definitely would be justified if they boycotted their Orange Bowl

As a fan though, the playoff match-ups are better for them getting jobbed 😅🤷🏿‍♂️. The integrity of the process just took a slight hit that'll be rectified when they expand it next year which I figure they're banking on

No kidding. Using their rationale, wouldn’t Alabama be favored in everyone one of those matchups, including Vegas? If that’s the case, why isn’t Alabama #1 in their seeding?

Further, who’s getting left out, UW or Michigan? You know Vegas would have the Dawgs as favorites against both teams.

Ridiculous that this is a factor at all in their decision

I’d argue that by January 1st Ladd McConkey, Brock Bowers & RaRa Thomas will be healthy and they are the best team in the country

The CFB also losses against good teams would be taken into account

Hey I won't knock anyone on the outside feeling this way. This makes more sense than trying to come up with calculations for a committee that just does whatever

I guess that’s part of the issue, they’re inconsistent and talk out both sides of their mouths. Vegas is trying to make money, what would their 4 be? You can give every reason in the book, but if you’re putting money on the line and where your mouth is, who is the best? I mean, that’s what the Committee keeps saying “the best 4”.

1. Bama (interchangeable with #2)
2. UGA (interchangeable with #1)
3. UT
4. Who’s 4? Michigan or UW? Or hell, how about tOSU, too.

Y’all going to be giving a lot of respect to Washington once this is all settled Jan 8. Sheesh! Never seen an undefeated team with as many NFL guys get so disrespected

This is really how they've always done it. Like the kid that cheats on his math test and can't show his work on how he got the answers. The scam was up when they put Ohio State in over TCU in 14. This committee wants to put the 4 teams in that checks all of their boxes no matter what they've said in the past or what the rankings were before.
