i'm 37, from Norwalk, CT. in middle school, between 96-98 is when i first saw uptowns. the kids who had new sneakers every month had all the mids from this era. mids with jewel swooshes. i feel like i don't remember anyone wearing lows or highs.

I didn't get a pair until like 2008 because some job I had demanded we wore ALL black shoes.
