Nike is very aware of secondary market prices. They know how exclusive they want certain releases to be and they usually know how limited they need to make them to reach certain prices.

The brand is one of the most important things about sneakers so the reputation and exclusivity of the brand is always top priority. It’s just not a good look when too many of their iconic products are available for too cheap a price. Like it or not that’s just how it is how it’s always been

Of course. Simple economics. Supply and demand. Technology made things worse. Can’t wait for tweets tomorrow of cats botting a FSR. It’s just a nasty market and no community anymore really in sneakers. 90s to like 2010 were golden years. It’s so nasty now people openly wear fake sneakers now. I just grab pairs I like to wear to work or Trader Joe’s.
