How stiff? Like, 2013 Chicago 1 stiff?Horrible in person compared to the 1.0. Toe box and side panels are colored like mud not truly sail. Orange parts are hard and stiff. If anyone on the fence... pass on them believe me.

Is it the same leather(orange part) that's on the black part of the bred 2016?Not that stiff. But pretty close to that

so, it feels good to finally be able to say i'm the proud owner of a ds (not for long), authentic pair of royals. my 1st thoughts are that the neoprene tongue is really weird and i don't like it compared to the og nylon tongue on all my other pairs (i don't have knicks). also, the leather is nowhere near as stiff as i've heard ppl complain about. both the toebox and black leather on my pair is actually quite soft, in fact noticeably softer than my '13 breds.
these are def. a thing of beauty and all things considered i feel like they were pretty much worth the price i paid (not literally, but u know what i'm saying). i'm very satisfied with them and they pretty much confirm that i'm not a fan of the tumbled leather on 1s except for the OG SBBs. i don't like the tumbled leather on my '16 breds and i won't like it my '17 royals. that said, imo, other than the overall better leather quality...

good thing they aren't ruining the BTs with tumbled leather (at least according to pics...)

Ouch[emoji]9785[/emoji]️️Absolutely not. The black parts on the Breds are buttery compared to these
how is the red leather holding up after being wet?Rocking my '16 breds today in rainy NYC weather. Man the shoe is so comfortable after each wear, really can rock these all day long. The slight creasing in the toebox with the tumbled leather... woooooo.
So glad I copped a pair of these.
damn Shattered Backboard prices seemed to have sky rocketed the past couple of months.
Want them at around $350 but that seems like a pipe dream unless i get lucky and stumble into one
