How do I go to desktop view mode on a phone. I don't like the mobile mode.

It's the same, just spaced a little differently.
But, on iOS I think you can do it by long-pressing the refresh button.
On Android it should just be baked into the browser's quick settings menu.

Not sure what to suggest for that. It sounds like a temporary bug or something.
Speaking of iOS though, the Share menu also has the Desktop View option in it.

That doesn't mean that you can't force a desktop view by doing what I posted:

But if it didn't work for you then there's likely just some early bugs affecting some devices.
