Royal auction that ended today not even sure about the authenticity but that ending price is insane.

After seeing that auction end price I'm contemplating throwing my sz 9.5 on the bay

I would have to agree with this. Imagine what they will be worth in a few years?

A new precedent will be set when the size 9 on FC sells for $950.

I doubt it, expect to see these re-listed!! The guy complained about everyone asking "If they are real" but there were definitely signs of these being GM!

It is. I remember one of the Royal threads when they first released and resell was like $230. Same people screaming "I'm not paying that much over retail" started singing a different tune months later "found them for a steal at $350".

It definitely is. They're a hard shoe to come by and it's gotten even harder because of all the awful GM's on the market. An authentic pair is like a unicorn.

I wouldn't do either of those deals as well if I was the owner of the bred 1 and shadows just for the simple fact that bred and shadows are way harder to come by these days and continue to rise in value whereas prices on wimbledon 2 and tiff highs have pretty much leveled off. Also, not to mention that bred and shadows would get a lot more wear from me than either of those two.

Just because you offered someone shoes that are worth more doesn't mean they have to accept the deal. It's pointless if you don't like the shoe and clearly they don't value it as much as the market or anyone else dictates.

With regard to eBay, it seems there are other legit sz 9.5s for less. One is actually a couple hundred below and DS so I am guessing it was a troll.

But with regard to Flight Club, Sz 9.5 sold on FC for $850 I believe a month ago. After that, a sz 12 was listed at $850, but then since dropped to $800 after another of the same size showed up.  Sz 9 was added at $950 couple of days ago so it does seem like prices are shifting up. Get em while you can from those who aren't keeping watch on prices.
